Clio Argyropoulou
Clio Argyropoulou currently serves as the Executive Director of Administration at the Center for Clinical Epidemiology Research and Outcomes (CLEO) in Athens, where she oversees operations, manages budgets, and contributes to the submission of all funded projects. Previously, she has worked as the Administrative Coordinator at Columbia Global Center Athens, her background also includes professional experience at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the U.S. Embassy in Athens, she has conducted extensive market research, investment promotion, and diplomatic event coordination.
Her early professional background includes roles in commercial expansion at the private sector. Clio is a graduate student at Boston University pursuing a Master’s degree in Global Policy with a specialization in Developmental Policy. She holds dual undergraduate degrees in International Relations and European Affairs, with a minor in International Business from Deree – The American College of Greece, and in Political Science and Social Policy from Panteion University.
Beyond her academic and professional achievements, Clio has actively engaged in research and academic activities, including the writing of several research papers, participation in major Forums and Dialogues in Greece, and summer studies at Oxford University. She has also volunteered extensively, engaging in the coordination of career oriented events, community blood drives, supporting children with special needs, and contributing to charitable associations in Greece. Fluent in Greek and English, proficient in German, and a beginner in Italian, and French, Clio combines strong linguistic, analytical, and organizational skills with a passion for public health, global policy and international health diplomacy.
